Mr. Robert Styles has become a life member of the ARLRA Inc. The announcment was made at their AGM held on 11th February 2006.

Bob has joined an elite group of men dedicated to rugby league refereeing in this country. Amongst Bob's achievements is his role as inagural CEO of the ARLRA from 2001 to 2003. He was also awarded the Australian Sports Medal in 2000.

At the district level Bob was Vice President of the Canterbury Referees' Association from 1985 to 1989 and President from 1990 to 1996. He is also a life member of both Canterbury and NSW Referees' Associations.

Congratulations to Bob on receiving this honour and to Mr. Denis Spagarino who also attained life membership for 2006.
