The clock was wound back about twenty years on Sunday 5th February when the Cricket Day made a successful return to the social calendar. Forty two members gathered at Amour Park Revesby and had a very enjoyable day. Whilst most players are obviously more comfortable with a whislte in their hands a few members showed some skills with bat and ball. Chris Bettiol's century was memorable and he can thank Matt Damaso for the dropped catch when he was on just 12. Matt wasn't alone on the day as quite a number of catches went begging . Thanks to all the members who came along and ensured the day was a success. Thanks to Wayne Loveday and Joe Attard for umpiring (keep your day job fellas), Tod Walker for keeping score and Chris Bettiol for providing the kits. Thanks also to Glenn Jeffcoat and Lionel Brown for looking after the BBQ and drinks. We're already looking forward to 2007.
