The Annual General Meeting was held at the Canterbury League Club on Thursday 16th February 2006.
Mr. Paul Archer was elected as President, unopposed, for the 10th consecutive year. George Elias was also elected to the committee, replacing Richard Daizli. All other positions remained unchanged.
The chairman welcomed special guests Mr. Les Matthews, CEO of the NSWRLRA also Mr. Roger Harborne, President of the CBDJRL and Mr. Paul Tycehurst, CEO of the CBDJRL.
Both Mr Harborne and Mr Tycehurst addressed the meeting and stressed the importance of referees being strong when it comes to foul play and discipline on the field. Referees were advised they will receive the full support of the Junior League when dealing with inappropriate behavior from players and spectators.
The meeting attendance was in excess of 50 members and various visitors. The size of the meeting indicates the strength of the association and the willingness of its members to come along and support their association.
